The world of Arthanus has many races. Some are aligned towards the light, while others are bound to the dark.
The entries below portray the main races and their attributes.
HUMANS:
Humans are one of the dominant species in the world of Arthanus. They were also the first species to evolve in the Second Age. This is one of the main reasons why the Good Immortal Dragons tend to associate with Humans more than the other races.
Adult Humans usually range in height from 5 to 6 feet tall. Humans have an average lifespan of 100 years. This lifespan is shorter than Gelanars, Feyans and of course, the Immortal Dragons. Although Humans are physically weaker than the other species, they are the most resilient and very inventive.
The Human population is the greatest, compared to the other species. This advantage allows them to amass great armies to fight against evil WarOrkz and other monsters.
Although it’s considered “taboo”, Humans would sometimes mate with Gelanars. No offspring can be created from this union.

FEYANS:
Feyans are one of the dominant species in the world of Arthanus. Adult Feyans usually range in height from 7 to 8 feet tall.
Feyans are an all-female species, and they are the ONLY Arthanus species that engages in same-sex relationships.
They usually reside near coastal cities and towns, due to the fact that their magical abilities are mainly water-based.
The average lifespan of a Feyan is 200 years; unlike Humans, who have an average lifespan of 100 years. As an all-female species, they usually mate with Human males in order to procreate. Once the mating ritual is complete, a Feyan will return to her Feyan partner to raise their child.
Note that if you choose to mate with a Feyan, the child will also be a Feyan – not a human. This is the way that Feyans have maintained their population for thousands of years.

GELANARS:
Gelanars are one of the dominant species in the world of Arthanus. Unlike adult Humans, adult Gelanars can grow in height from 8 to 9 feet tall. Humans have an average lifespan of 100 years. Gelanars however, have an average life span of 300 years. Gelanars are well known for their great strength and are formidable warriors on the battlefield.
Although Gelanars and Humans are considered as “cousin” species, mating between the two species does not produce offspring. This is why Gelanar females need to marry and mate with Gelanar males, to maintain their relatively smaller population.

WARORKZ:
WarOrkz are one of the dominant species in the world of Arthanus. Adult WarOrkz usually range in height from 6 to 7 feet tall. These nomadic beasts travel across the land; raping, pillaging and murdering.
WarOrkz have an average lifespan of 50 years – which is shorter than the lifespans of the other species. They make up for this shortage by having many offspring.
Like Gelanars, WarOrkz are known for their great strength. However, unlike the other dominant species, WarOrkz are also known for their relatively low intelligence.
WarOrk males can only mate with WarOrk females – as none of the other dominant species have any interest whatsoever, in mating with these vile creatures.

THE IMMORTAL DRAGONS OF ARTHANUS:
The Immortal Dragons are the most powerful beings in the world of Arthanus. They came into existence and sentience during the creation of this world – and as Immortals, they will exist until this world finally ends.
The balance between Good and Evil is determined by these powerful Immortal beings – and all of the mortal beings of Arthanus align themselves accordingly.
The Immortal Dragons of Arthanus are of two distinct opposing clans:
